To test this idea, we carried out migration and invasion assays on breast cancer cells with or without silencing TRPS1. The number of migrating and invading breast cancer cells increased upon silencing TRPS1, while additional depletion of ΔNp63 expression by silencing TP63 restored the increased migration and invasion abilities of breast cancer cells (Fig. 6b). This evidence concerns the gene TP63 and breast carcinoma.
