The ApoB reduction was greater in subjects with T2DM (−11.5 mg/dL; 95% CI −16.2, −6.8 mg/dL) than in nondiabetic subjects (−2.5 mg/dL; 95% CI −4.7, −0.3 mg/dL) (p-het = 0.015). This evidence concerns the gene APOB and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
