ABCC transporters contain 13 full molecules, including the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein, also known as ABCC7, which causes cystic fibrosis; cell-surface receptors, such as the sulfonylurea receptors (ABCC8, ABCC9) and the multidrug resistance proteins (MRPs) [12]. This evidence concerns the gene CFTR and cystic fibrosis.
