CD8A and neoplasm: In the setting of combined therapy with CTLA-4 inhibition, Dewan et al. reported that 8 Gy × 3 regimen against TSA mouse breast carcinoma resulted in enhanced tumor response of both irradiated and non-irradiated tumors compared to the two other tested fractionations (20 Gy × 1 and 6 Gy × 5), with frequency of CD8+ T-cell activation proportional to treatment response [7].
