NR2F6 and leukemia: The high expression of EAR-2 in patients with MDS (n = 12), AML (n = 15) and CMML (n = 10) [32], along with the ability of EAR-2 to regulate differentiation in leukemia cell lines and its pattern of expression in the normal hematopoietic hierarchy suggests a link between EAR-2, stem/progenitor cell dysfunction and the pathogenesis of MDS.
