Many different kinds of signaling pathways are changed in AD, indeed the relevance of the biological pathways shown in figure 1 such as cytoskeletal regulation by Rho GTPase suggests mediating of these signaling pathways in the different lobs of brain, in this case in temporal cortex with differential regulation of CDC42. CDC42 has been linked to neuronal diseases like Alzheimer and Parkinson’s disease through its role in cytoskeletal organization 54. This evidence concerns the gene CDC42 and Alzheimer disease.
