CRP and hypersensitivity reaction disease: Among these 24 severe adverse events, 23 were classified as being not related to the study (nine in group A, 11 in group B, and three in the control group), and one was classified as being possibly related, occurring in a woman aged 25 years who had an abdominal complaint and fever with low CRP (randomly assigned to group A), initially diagnosed by the attending health-care provider as a hypersensitivity reaction, and no antibiotic was prescribed.
