Mean levels of EPC markers CD34(+)/VEGFR2(+) and CD133(+)/VEGFR2(+), indicating the rate of circulating EPCs, were significantly higher in the patients with newly diagnosed untreated HL than in the patients with HL in remission (P = 0.03 and P = 0.005, respectively, Figure 2).
