This “integrative single case study” on a 49-year-old breast cancer survivor provided first insights into the bidirectional psycho-immunological dynamics of IL-6 under conditions of “life as it is lived.” Univariate ARIMA modeling of the urinary IL-6 time series revealed a stochastic seasonal first-order autoregressive process (SAR [1]) with a span of seasonality of 8, i.e., 4 days. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and breast cancer.
