Our findings areconsistent with the observations by Patel et al. [28], who reported ACE2 SNPs (rs2074192, rs4240157, and rs4646188)were associated with higher hypertension risk while rs1978124 was not in a diabeticAustralian Caucasian population, and by Benjafield et al. [12], who reported that rs1978124 and rs2285666were not correlated with EH in Australian persons of Anglo-Celtic descent. This evidence concerns the gene ACE2 and Hypertension.
