Many other hematological parameters, including neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) [27, 28], platelet/lymphocyte ratio (PLR) [28], lymphocyte/monocyte ratio [29], C-reactive protein [27], and interleukin-6 [30], all closely related to the inflammatory response and anemia, also have been reported to play a prognostic role in cancers.
