Several groups, including ours, have demonstrated that SEMA3F inhibits tumor growth, angiogenesis and metastasis in various tumors, such as melanoma (Bielenberg et al., 2004), osteosarcoma (Liu et al., 2016), ovarian cancer (Joseph et al., 2010), colon cancer (Wu et al., 2011; Rao et al., 2015), and lung cancer (Potiron et al., 2007). This evidence concerns the gene SEMA3F and lung carcinoma.
