Recent analyses have suggested new taxonomies of DLBCL on the basis of genetic characteristics.5,6 Whereas Schmitz et al6 used a data set focused strongly on the ABC and UNC COO groups, where the MHG group would be under-represented, Chapuy et al5 commented on the genetic complexity of MYC and BCL2 dysregulation that is represented in more than one of their clusters. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
