Nivolumab (Opdivo, Bristol-Myers Squibb), the fully human IgG4 anti-PD-1 antibody, was approved by the FDA in December 2014 for unresectable or metastatic melanoma that progressed after ipilimumab therapy and for patients with positive BRAF V600 mutation who failed treatment with BRAF inhibitors. Here, BRAF is linked to metastatic melanoma.
