Regarding the role of lncATB in breast cancer, a recent study reported that lncATB promoted trastuzumab resistance and invasiveness in Her2-positive breast cancer cells by competitively binding miR-200c to restore the expression of the miR-200c target genes ZEB1 and ZNF-217, resulting in EMT-mediated drug resistance45. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast cancer.
