In Fig. 1 NKs from HD (A) and RCC patients, either VHL-WT (B) or –MUT (C), displayed comparable externalization of CD107a against K562 cells (average CD107a+NK cells: 15 ± 0.02% vs 15 ± 3% vs 17 ± 2.5% respectively); absence of CD107a+NK cells activity was detected evaluating HD blood samples after incubation with human RCC lines (Fig. 1A). This evidence concerns the gene LAMP1 and renal cell carcinoma.
