HGF and non-small cell lung carcinoma: The abnormal activity of the HGF/c-MET pathway has been also documented in a wide range of cancers (for review [18,19,20,21,22] and the references therein), including breast [23], esophageal [24], and cervical [25] cancers, and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) [26,27], brain tumors [28], head and neck [29,30], and non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) [31], among others.
