At multivariate analysis (Table 2), only age ≥60 years and the presence of a disability were associated with an increased risk of sarcopenia (OR = 3.3; CI 1.4–7.7, p = 0.005; OR = 3.0; 95% CI 1.2–7.9, p = 0.01, respectively), while a higher CRP value almost reached statistical significance (p = 0.07).
