Colorectal cancer with negative CDX2 status (CDX2−) is associated with an increased likelihood of aggressive features such as lymph node metastasis (LNM), poor differentiation, lymphovascular (LVI), perineural (PNI) and extramural vascular (EMVI) invasion, BRAF mutation and CIMP12. This evidence concerns the gene CDX2 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
