Our previous study found that TLRs on peritoneal macrophage promotes the allergic asthma by maintaining the NLRP3/IL-1β signaling (28), but in this study, activation of TLRs signaling in sensitization-recruited monocytes could attenuate allergic asthma by producing Th1-associated cytokines. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and allergic asthma.
