The SVCA method has been used in (R)-[11C]PK11195 studies to compare TSPO binding between healthy control subjects and patients with Alzheimer’s disease [11, 12], multiple sclerosis [13], traumatic brain injury [14], and schizophrenia [15] or studies which examined changes in TSPO expression in normal aging [16, 17]. This evidence concerns the gene TSPO and multiple sclerosis.
