Taken together with the findings of Zou et al. [117], it appears that M. incognita immune pathways like cytochrome P450, MAPK signaling, HIF-1 signaling, mTOR signaling, PI3K-Akt signaling and TGF-beta signaling pathways were active upon infection by Pasteuria from 8 h to 3 days, in addition to the regulation of actin cytoskeleton pathway (Additional file 2).
