The combined pharmacological inhibition of lysosome and proteasome in TetON MDA-MB-231 cells - also in the absence of doxycycline - induced C/EBP-β LIP protein (Additional file 8a-b), increased LIP binding to CRT promoter (Fig. 6a), CRT mRNA (Fig. 6b) and protein (Fig. 6c-d) levels, tumor cell phagocytosis (Fig. 6e) and CD8+CD107+T-lymphocytes expansion (Fig. 6f).
