TRPM7 and breast carcinoma: This is consistent with data from our correlative clinicopathological analysis showing that TRPM7 positively correlated tumor grade, tumor size and lymph node metastasis; and is corroborated by the findings of Dhennin-Duthile et al. [13]., in which several TRPs including TRPM8 and TRPM7 were shown to be overexpressed in human breast cancer epithelial cells and tissues, with strong positive correlation with pathological parameters such as the Scarff-Bloom-Richardson (SBR) grade, Ki67 proliferative index and tumor size.
