INS and diabetes mellitus: There was a correlation of α-HB with cholesterol (rS = 0.762, p = 0.037), glucose (rS = 0.838, p = 0.013) and insulin concentration (rS = 0.786, p = 0.028), diabetes duration (rS = 0.783, p = 0.026), taurine (rS = 0.905, p = 0.005), citric acid (rS = 0.738, p = 0.046), 2-ketoisocaproic acid (rS = −0.738, p = 0.049) and l-valine (rS = 0.738, p = 0.037) in the group with slow remission and with weight (rS = 0.814, p = 0.018), oleamide level (rS = −0.810, p = 0.022), 2-ketoisocaproic acid (rS = 0.905, p = 0.005) and l-valine (rS = −0.762, p = 0.037) in the group with quicker remission.
