The results presented no significant differences between these two groups in the age, gender, weight, TG, HDL, and HbA1C of patients (all P>0.05), while BMI, WHR, TC, LDL, FPG, 2hPG, HOMA-IR, APN, and CRP were significantly correlated with the improved condition of T2DM patients complicated with NAFLD (all P<0.05, Table 5). Here, CRP is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
