Moreover, in 8 of these 22 cases the pathologist did not find evidence of a tumor, whereas the NGS panel found a glioblastoma in 4 patients, an oligodendroglioma in 1 patient and a BRAF-mutated tumor in 1 patient (Additional file 1: Figure S1 and Additional file 2: Figure S2).
