Confirming all previous publications, we do not find any relationship between the degree of hypercortisolism and comorbidities at initial diagnosis, corroborating that not only the amount of glucocorticoid excess, but also the time of exposure to hypercortisolism or differences in glucocorticoid receptor sensitivity determine the phenotype of Cushing’s syndrome.
