The aPL, namely lupus anticoagulant (LA), anticardiolipin antibody (aCL), or anti-β2 glycoprotein-I antibody (anti-β2GpI) are usually found in the primary antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), but can be associated with other connective tissue diseases (mainly systemic lupus erythematosus), infections, drugs, and malignancies. Here, ACLY is linked to autoimmune polyendocrinopathy.
