Staining for clone SP142 showed lower levels of PD-L1 staining than clones 22C3, 28–8 and E1L3N on immune cells and tumor cells in 90 archival surgically resected NSCLC tumor samples [2], whereas clone SP142 showed a consistent qualitative and quantitative performance for detecting PD-L1 expression in a study comparing staining for five PD-L1 antibody clones (5H1, SP142, 28–8, SP263 and 22C3) in 34 FFPE melanoma specimens [4]. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and neoplasm.
