XIST and thyroid gland carcinoma: Among a large amount of dysregulated lncRNAs, XIST expression was significantly increased in thyroid cancer tissues (Additional file 1: Table S1); moreover, XIST has been regarded as an oncogene in many cancers through interacting with different miRNAs, such as miR-152 [18], miR-101 [19], miR-124 [20], miR-29c [21], miR-29a [22], miR-140 [23], miR-367/141 [24], and miR-133a [25].
