Kruppel-like factor 6 (KLF6) is a tumor suppressor gene, and AS of KLF6 results in a dominant-negative splice form KLF6-SV1 (splice variant 1), which plays a critical role in promoting cell proliferation, survival, migration and angiogenesis of prostate cancer [63,64]. The gene discussed is KLF6; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
