SMN1 and breast adenocarcinoma: In conclusion, the present study has shown that the SMA compound evidently exhibits cellular cytotoxicity by the induction of telomere shortening and apoptosis in three types of cancer cell lines, including the human A-549 lung adenocarcinoma, MDA-MB-231 breast adenocarcinoma and U87-MG brain glioblastoma astrocytoma.
