The results showed that both inhibitors reversed the levels of BECN1, LC3-II, SQSTM1, and EGFP-LC3 puncta in the ANXA1 OE NPC cells, but only had slight effect on the levels of BECN1, LC3-II, SQSTM1, and EGFP-LC3 puncta in the vector control cells (Fig. 3d), indicating that ANXA1 inhibits NPC cell autophagy by PI3K/AKT signaling activation.
