APP and Hemiparesis: It may be postulated that seizures and cognitive/behavioural dysfunction fit within a phenotypic cluster associated with certain conditions previously identified to have poorer prognoses; for example, concentration difficulties, cognitive dysfunction, and mood/personality changes were found to be more common in the APP-cPACNS population, whereas hemiparesis was found to occur more frequently in the APNP-cPACNS cohort and seizures were common in SV-cPACNS [1, 19].
