We found that the odds of being diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer in men who had 10 or more sexual partners in their 20s or 30s (or 20 or more lifetime partners) was higher among AA men than EA men (Table 6), consistent with the increased frequency of the IFNL4-ΔG risk allele in AA compared to any other racial group. This evidence concerns the gene IFNL4 and prostate carcinoma.
