TSG101 is a cancer‐related protein that has been reported to play important roles in many cellular processes, including endosomal trafficking, ubiquitination, virus budding and cell survival.5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Recently, it is found that the expression of TSG101 is frequently up‐regulated in human ovarian cancer, colorectal carcinoma, papillary thyroid carcinoma, gastrointestinal tumour, and gallbladder cancer,16, 17, 18, 19, 20 which indicates that TSG101 could be a potential biomarker in human cancers. This evidence concerns the gene TSG101 and ovarian carcinoma.
