Recently, some studies had proposed that inflammatory factors such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), Interleukin 6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor(TNF) were associated with dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome [30–33], which was based on the theory that these factors can affect lipid metabolism by promoting the expression of adhesion molecules, the recruitment and activating and gathering the inflammatory cells. The gene discussed is IL6; the disease is cardiovascular disorder.
