Additionally, rescue experiments showed that the migration and invasive abilities of PCa cells that were suppressed by transfection with miR‐455‐5p were remarkably recovered by supplementing with PIR, suggesting that the miR‐455‐5p/PIR axis plays an important role in cancer progression, especially metastasis and invasion of PCa, through AR‐independent pathways.
