In fact, UCA1 levels are further increased upon the development of chemoresistance to cisplatin in oral squamous cell carcinoma, bladder cancer and gastric cancer cells [148,173,189,290], to tamoxifen in breast cancer cells [147], to paclitaxel in ovarian cancer cells [160], to doxorubicin in gastric cancer cells [148], and to 5-fluorouracil in gastric cancer and CRC cells [110,148].
