MET and non-small cell lung carcinoma: These patients may benefit from MET-targeted therapy, as already anticipated by data from an expansion cohort of the phase I study of the MET-ALK inhibitor crizotinib (PROFILE 1001) [77]; other ongoing clinical trials are still evaluating the efficacy of more specific MET-inhibitors such as tepotinib (NCT02864992) in advanced NSCLC with MET exon 14-skipping alterations or MET amplification.
