Although the effects of DSCAM‐AS1 in breast cancer cell proliferation, epithelial‐mesenchymal transition, and tamoxifen resistance have been researched, whether DSCAM‐AS1 affects patient prognosis remains unclear.9, 10 Yashar analyzed the survival rate of a TCGA breast cancer cohort on ER‐positive samples, but no significant difference in survival was found between patients with high and low expression of DSCAM‐AS1.10 Considering the imperfect follow‐up of the TCGA cohort, we cannot exclude the probability of false negative results.
