NEAT1 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes: All of these studies have in common that they show an upregulation of NEAT1 in cancer tissue as well as in cell lines and that this increase in NEAT1 levels was associated with more lymph node metastasis, higher TNM grades, and a poor overall survival in patients as well as increased proliferation, invasion, and migration in vitro (Jen et al., 2017; Li et al., 2018a; Sun et al., 2017; Wu et al., 2017; Zhang et al., 2017a).
