CDC5L and prostate carcinoma: showed that cell division cycle 5‐like protein (CDC5L) is a regulatory target of NEAT1 and that knockdown of NEAT1 results in reduced expression of AGRN, which is a direct target of CDC5L and a interaction partner of transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGFβ1) leading to DNA damage, cell cycle arrest ultimately resulting in decreased cancer cell growth and tumorigenesis in prostate cancer cells (Li et al., 2018b).
