Within the (CD3+) T cell populations, the ratio of CD4+ to CD8+ T cells was higher in uveitis patients (ratio [range] = 2.5 [1.4–9.4] vs. 1.5 [1.1–3.3], p = 0.03), due to a reduction in CD8+ cells in the CD3+ population (Figure 4A). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is uveitis.
