Taken together, we hypothesized that SFN metabolites might regulate the levels of βIII-tubulin, XIAP, Tau, Hsp70 and Stathmin1 protein by activated ERK1/2-mediated 26S proteasome, thereby interfering with dynamics of microtubules, reducing the resistance to PTX and synergistically promoting apoptosis in human PTX-resistant NSCLC cells. This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
