Patients with lymph node metastases more frequently had a PSA value > 20 ng/ml (36.7 vs. 7.5%, p < 0.001), more frequently harboured clinical tumour stage T3 to T4 (24.1 vs. 2.3%, p < 0.001) and more frequently harboured GGG 5 (42.5 vs. 6.3%, p < 0.001). Here, KLK3 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
