Except for some diseases and cancer-related pathways, the downregulated genes were mainly enriched in the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) signaling pathway, forkhead box O (FoxO) signaling pathway, and some fundamental biochemical processes (such as focal adhesion, endocrine and other factor-regulated calcium reabsorption, and glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis—keratan sulfate). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and cancer.
