An increased albumin-NLR score was associated with an advanced disease stage (p = 0.001), a higher number of total and negative lymph nodes resected (p = 0.004 and p = 0.047, respectively), a higher degree of vascular invasion (p = 0.026), and a higher density of lymphocytes in the tumour invasive margin (p = 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and neoplasm.
