The elevated mGPS, SIS and albumin-NLR scores were significantly associated with an advanced T stage (p = 0.021, p = 0.026, p = 0.021), microsatellite instability (MSI) status (p < 0.001, p < 0.001, p = 0.001), and local intratumoural inflammation factors, such as higher neutrophil density in the central region of the tumour (all p < 0.001) and the invasive margin of tumour (p = 0.014, p < 0.001, p = 0.01), as well as a Crohn’s-like reaction (p < 0.001, p < 0.001, p = 0.013).
