RPS27A and Huntington disease: While many of these proteins are involved in metabolic pathways (such as glutamate dehydrogenase 1 and serine hydroxymethyltransferase 2), others (such as ATP synthase alpha and beta subunits along with ribosomal protein S27a) are involved in other amyloid diseases pathways including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and Huntington’s disease.
