Patients with ALK-positive NSCLC more commonly are never- or light smokers, and they have a median age of between 50 and 55 years, which is about 10 to 15 years lower than for the general NSCLC population and also the EGFR mutated patients [9, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 84].
